Frank Byrnes has been the President of Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI) since 1989. He is the leader of a team of consultants sharing skills, strategies and techniques that equip individuals, teams and organizations to excel in times of change. He has worked with a wide variety of organizations. As a trainer, facilitator, and consultant he helps them mobilize the passion of leaders and employees to achieve their results.

Carol has 20 years of experience in the fields of project management, management, human resources, administration, facilitation, coaching and training.

Kevin Byrnes is a member of the Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI) team and has at least 5 years experience in designing and delivering HPCI Proactive Interview Skills Workshops to a wide variety of investigative bodies, including Transport Canada Civil Aviation SMS and Enforcement investigators.

Daniel Laurence is a trainer, facilitator, manager and team member of the Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HCPI) since 2007. Since then, he has delivered training to a variety of participants from managers, investigators to auditors. He knows how to adapt to the needs of his participants.


Cynthia BilodeauCynthia Bilodeau

Cynthia is a perfectly bilingual training consultant and coach specializing in developing human potential. She has assisted numerous companies in their personnel selection processes and in their coaching and training needs, grounding her approach in her expertise in testing and personality profiling. She is also a licenced guidance counsellor from the Ordre des Conseillers et Conseillères d’Orientation du Québec, and Certified Canadian Counsellor from the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Tony White is a Certified Sales Trainer, Certified Personality Dimensions™ Facilitator, Adler Trained Coach (ATC) and also Certified Training Practitioner (CTP). He has worked with over 10,000 people (public and private sectors) in skills such as team leadership, presentation, customer service, negotiation and change management skills. “Energizing, engaging & practical” are the words used to describe a session by Tony White. He is also the author of “Make it Happen – A Practical Handbook for Team Leaders, Project Managers and Facilitators to Build, Facilitate and Repair High-Performance Teams”, which has sold thousands of copies through Chapters/Indigo online as well as other retailers.


Sal PollettaSal Polletta

Sal is a bilingual team member, trainer and consultant of Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI) and a faculty member of American Management Association through his partnership with HPCI. He has over 23 years of consulting, facilitation and training experience in public, private and non-profit environments to more than 125 different organizations in various sectors. Sal is also a lean six sigma black belt and trained as a lead auditor of the ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and ISO/TS-16949 international quality management standard.

Kevin has over 15 years’ experience as a facilitator and provides design, development, and delivery of coaching, communications, management and leadership training in both the public and private sectors. Over the past 30 years, both in Canada and in the United States, he has held diverse supervisory and management positions in both the private and public sectors. Kevin also holds an Ontario Management Development Program (OMDP) certificate in Leadership Skills from the University of Guelph-Humber and a diploma in Law and Security Administration from Sheridan College.


Michel BérardMichel Bérard

Michel is a trainer and facilitator with a wealth of National and International experience. He has worked 40 years in the field of training/education, 35 of which are in professional development skills and management. His innate capacities as a communicator and as a motivator make Michel a catalyst for the acquisition of knowledge applicable as much as in the workplace and as in the everyday lives of the participants. In 1985, he was honoured by receiving the Merit Award from the hands of the President of the Public Service Commission of Canada, in recognition for his sustained dedication and team spirit. Furthermore, his competencies are as eloquent in French as they are in English.

Laurie Rose is a team member of Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI). She is a dynamic and engaging bilingual facilitator, trainer and coach; passionate about helping people to be fully engaged in their professional lives. She has spent the last eighteen years offering training and consulting services to the public, private, and non-profit sectors in Canada and internationally.


Ryan ThompsonRyan Thompson

Ryan Thompson is a member of the Human Potential Consultants Inc. (HPCI) team as a facilitator, trainer and consultant. For the last 10 years he has been working with individuals and organizations to improve their negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills. He specializes in the interest-based approach to negotiation, conflict management and difficult conversations pioneered at the Harvard Negotiation Project.

Mr. Thompson has worked with public and private sector clients in pharmaceuticals, financial services, health care, mining, law, and manufacturing in North America, Europe and Asia. Clients include the Celgene, AstraZeneca, Pharmacyclics, Bank of Montreal, Xstrata, and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA).

Before entering the field of training, facilitation and consulting, Ryan spent several years as an Environmental Risk Analyst, first with the Cadmus Group and then with Intrinsik Environmental Sciences. His work primarily involved performing ecological risk assessments for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at two contaminated sites: Housatonic River, Massachusetts, and Calcasieu Estuary, Louisiana.

His time in environmental consulting gave him hands-on experience in conflict management and negotiation in the areas of project management, risk management, research and design, and public-stakeholder involvement. From this perspective, he brings insights from working with private and public sector clients and stakeholders, solving complex problems that demand innovative, multidisciplinary thinking.

Ryan has a Master’s Degree in Conflict Studies from St. Paul University in Ottawa (Canada) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario (Canada) in Environment and Resources Management. Studies for his Master’s degree included labour and management relations and the influence that the environment, gender and culture have on the negotiation process.

His emphatic and humorous approach foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
